Easy Breather Accessory
The Easy Breather Accessory was initially designed as an accessory to the Technegas Generator, yet is now a fully integrated component of the new Technegas Plus System.
The Easy Breather Accessory provides positive pressure to deliver Technegas directly into ventilated patients or to patients who would otherwise find it difficult to undertake a typical ventilation study.
Delivery of Technegas using the Easy Breather Accessory is a simple technique. By squeezing the resuscitation bag mounted at the back of the Technegas Plus system, the patient is provided with assistance to easily inhale the Technegas.
The Easy Breather Accessory extends the use of the Technegas Plus System to the most technically challenging patients.
Crucible Oven
The crucible oven is a newly integrated feature in the Technegas Plus system developed to help with two specific work flow issues as they pertain to the production of Technegas.
In some sites the source of Pertechnetate is generated ‘in house’. In this situation, the specific activity may not meet the requirement of the Technegas Plus system (100.Mci/mI) by the end of the work week. The crucible oven can then be used to concentrate the required dose as an integrated process during the normal operation of the system.
In busy high volume sites, where throughput and workflow are paramount, the crucible oven can be used to ‘preload’ several patient doses eliminating the need for the technologist to manage the dose at the time the patient arrives.
