Clinical Images
- The Technegas Image Gallery will illustrate the unique and superior qualities that have made Technegas the new standard for Ventilation Perfusion imaging. The Image Gallery will highlight the normal and non-typical variants characterizing Technegas allowing new and current users to best apply Technegas in their Departments.
Technegas Case Studies Gallery
- The Technegas Case Studies Gallery will highlight those areas where Nuclear Medicine Ventilation Perfusion imaging shows significant clinical impact and in addition, emphasizes the impact of using SPECT imaging, reinforcing the value of this new standard.
With SPECT as the preferred method for imaging VQ Lungs, more departments are now considering the transition from Planar imaging. As with most transitions, however, there is a learning curve - the most significant being for the NM Reader. Traditionally, the reader requires a full set of Planar and SPECT data for a period of time in order to comfortably rely solely on the SPECT data. This is not optimal in today’s NM Department.
So…we have made it Easier
To help, we have created the Technegas Teaching file, a collection of 100 Technegas SPECT VQ studies. Each patient file contains a full-count planar study, a typical VQ SPECT study and a clinical case history. Also included in the application is an interactive 3D Lung Atlas.
The teaching file was created in collaboration with several Canadian Nuclear Medicine Departments.
